Area superintendent published by USGA

Darrin Batisky, Golf Course Superintendent at Chartiers Country Club, Pittsburgh, has written an article published in the March-April edition of the USGA Green Section Record, the USGA’s semi-monthly turf publication. Batisky’s article, “Plan Your Work, Work Your Plan,” concerns using employee time records to determine accurately the costs of various golf course management practices.

Batisky, a past President of the Greater Pittsburgh Golf Course Superintendents Association, has been active in his profession, including his participation on the WPGA Green Committee.
