Pentrack continues area dominance of State competitions

Margaret Pentrack, Pittsburgh Field Club, won the Pennsylvania Women’s Amateur at Erie’s Kahkwa Club, August 18-20, defeating fellow Western Pennsylvanian Jordan Craig, 1-up in the final. Pentrack, a student and golf team member at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, won four matches after qualifying for the championship flight.

Pentrack’s victory continues the streak of area golfers who have dominated state competitions run by either the Pennsylvania Golf Association or the Pennsylvania State Women’s Golf Association.
