Matthew S. Rusinko, the Association’s Championship Manager the past two seasons, 2011 and 2012, has been named Championship Director effective January 1, 2013. Rusinko was employed for ten months annually the past two seasons; he now assumes full-time duties. In addition to a full slate of championship tasks, Rusinko will also be involved in supporting social media technology and the WPGA Scholarship Fund.

He also worked as Membership Services Manager, 2007-2009, at Sewickley Heights Golf Club. Rusinko was reinstated to status as an amateur golfer last summer by the USGA.
WPGA President Gary Evans commented, “Matt’s work for the Association has been top notch and well received by players, Member Clubs and Association officials alike. We are delighted to have him in a full-time role on Executive Director Jeff Rivard’s staff.”
