Home course and heavy rain contribute to Todd win

Brendon Todd, who first played golf at Rolling Hills and learned the game from professional John Rech, recorded his first win on the Web.com Tour Sunday shooting 66-70-69 – 205 at the University of Georgia GC in Athens May. Heavy rains cancelled the final round so Todd prevailed on Sunday without hitting a shot.

Todd was a standout at the University of Georgia a decade ago and became the third Bulldog to win the Web.com stop in recent years. He moved to 4th place on the money list.

Washington native Steve Wheatcroft recorded 70-71-73 – 214 to tie for 27th. He is 45th on the money list.
